This painting is what I imagine Mathew would look like now. Quite handsome! I didn’t paint him on purpose though, he started with random colors and shapes… I stared and stared at them until I found him.
The aboriginal woman -India- the real queen of this planet, one with nature.
In winter , she is crowned by snowflakes woven with the golden threads of her deeds, of her unconditional love and understanding of nature.
I just love that song and I imagine him singing:

Did you know Frida, who was told by her doctor to stay in bed because of her illness, went to the opening of her exhibition literally on her bed? She drank, celebrated and had fun… while laying on her bed.

This pretty little girl was painted on Strathmore watercolor paper with acrylic paint.
In the slider below I also included the first version of her, the first blots of color. It fascinates me to see that this painting can be interpreted in two directions, like those eye-trick images. You might tend to see the skin of her neck and the blue water behind her. But the blue shape could also be her scarf. Her face and the background are one area of color.
